A note from Oliver
It began with a shiny block.
ERYDON began because I wanted shinier stone finishes.
I was admiring how Conquest’s calcite and limestone looked with Complementary Unbound. The way the light caught the stone felt remarkably lifelike, and I wanted to try that with other materials. My first attempt was called “glossblocks”: a small collection of marble-textured full blocks. It grew from there.
I’ve always been interested in architecture. Greek philosophy as an undergraduate, art theory as a postgrad, a career in luxury interiors: developing ERYDON brought those different parts of my life together.
The textures reflect stones I love in the real world: Calacatta, Noir Saint Laurent, Statuario, travertine and Belgian Blue, alongside other marbles, gemstones and geological finishes. I wanted players to have a palette they could use to recreate something real or build something entirely imagined.
These days I try to balance building the mods with building with them. Luxury country houses remain my particular interest, although the Collection also lends itself to ecclesiastical and civic architecture.

Come and say hello
The first spark came from Conquest’s materials and Complementary Unbound’s rendering. Those projects deserve the credit for that inspiration.
