THE ERYDON COLLECTIONMinecraft JavaTalk to Oliver

Building tools

Axiom tools.

Five brushes for shaping ERYDON roads, walls and layered surfaces.

Requires the ERYDON mod and Axiom on Minecraft Java 1.20.1.

Original presets from Oliver’s setup. Demonstration videos will be added later.

Add the presets to Axiom.

  1. Extract the ZIP, or download individual presets below.
  2. With Minecraft closed, copy the five .nbt files into config/axiom/tool_presets/script_brush/ inside your Minecraft instance folder. Create the folder if needed.
  3. Start Minecraft with ERYDON and Axiom. Open Axiom’s Editor Mode (Right Shift by default), choose Script Brush, then select a preset from Tool Presets.

These brushes add, replace or remove blocks. Try a small area first; Axiom’s default Undo shortcut is Ctrl+Z.

01Roads

Road Edge Smooth

Add matching vertical slopes along the outside of a block-built ERYDON road.

Download preset

Shown in Axiom as ery_road_edge_smooth_v7.

Controls & notes

Controls

  • Use paired shallow slopes, with 45° slopes as a fallback.
  • Match the road material, or choose the full block and edge pieces yourself.
  • Fill edges downward and set the search range and maximum fill depth.

Before using it

  • Adds pieces outside the road, so leave space around its edges.
  • Replacing non-ERYDON blocks is on by default. Switch it off around terrain and other builds you want to keep.
02Walls

Wall Stacker

Extend an ERYDON wall upward or downward by copying the selected block and its settings.

Download preset

Shown in Axiom as erydon_family_wall_stacker.

Controls & notes

Controls

  • Add between 1 and 64 blocks upward, downward or in both directions.
  • Limit the brush to one exact block state, or let it use any ERYDON block.

Before using it

  • Stops when it meets another ERYDON block.
  • Overwrite non-ERYDON blocks is on by default. Turn it off to fill empty space only.
03Walls

Wall Centreline Smoother

Shape two-block stepped wall lines with full blocks and paired shallow slopes.

Download preset

Shown in Axiom as erydon_wall_centerline_smoother.

Controls & notes

Controls

  • Use shallow slope pairs or the 45° fallback, and choose the side used for 45° pieces.
  • Match the wall material, or choose the pieces yourself.
  • Fill downward and adjust the search range and maximum fill depth.

Before using it

  • Works on narrow stepped centrelines. Try a short section before applying it across a larger wall.
  • Replace non-ERYDON blocks and Replace old ERYDON edge slopes both start on.
04Paths

Path Line Slimmer

Remove one side of an ERYDON path or line to make it narrower.

Download preset

Shown in Axiom as erydon_path_line_slimmer.

Controls & notes

Controls

  • Choose the north, east, south or west side to remove.
  • Limit removal to one exact block state, or allow any ERYDON block.

Before using it

  • This tool deletes blocks.
  • A block is removed only when another ERYDON block lies on its opposite side at the same height. Brush the outside edge for predictable narrowing.
05Layered surfaces

ERYDON Layer Flat

Replace snow layers with matching ERYDON stone layers, keeping their thickness.

Download preset

Shown in Axiom as TERR - ERYDON - Layer Flat.

Controls & notes

Controls

  • Choose whether full snow blocks also count.
  • Set a fallback thickness from 1 to 8 layers and use ceiling anchoring where the destination supports it.
  • Optionally require solid support and avoid water or lava.

Before using it

  • The full block beneath the snow must have an entry in the tool’s material palette. Unmapped areas stay unchanged.
  • The mapped palette does not include Rock.

Changing a material?

Use ERYDON’s material-swap commands to keep matching shapes while changing stone or finish. Inlay metal can be changed separately.
